Dr. Cohen provides a full range of Obstetrical and Gynecological care and services with a belief that every patient is unique with special and individual needs. He provides care and services in the office, hospital and outpatient surgery center settings, which includes privileges at SMH and Cape Surgery Center.
His Obstetrical management involves low risk, as well as, high-risk pregnancies to include Vaginal Birth after Cesarean. (VBAC’S). His affiliation with Sarasota Memorial Hospital (SMH) as a high-risk tertiary care center enables him to manage and provide high-risk obstetrical care for maternal and neonatal patients.
As a gynecologic surgeon he has received specialized advanced training in minimally invasive pelvic surgeries to include daVinci robotic and 3D High-Definition surgeries. He provides further advanced services by providing in office procedures using a state of the art surgery suite. Simple and complex hysteroscopic procedures (MyoSure), endometrial ablation (Novasure) and tubal occlusion (Essure) are some of the in office procedures that are provided with the assistance of board-certified anesthesiologists giving a complete spectrum of gynecological care.
