Qualifications and Experience
William Bell is a dedicated and compassionate neurologist caring for the McLean, VA and Washington, DC communities. Dr. Bell earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University. He completed residencies, one at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and the other at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. In addition to this, Dr. Bell finished a residency in neurology at the University of Texas, Southwestern. He continued his training by completing a fellowship in neurophysiology, epilepsy and sleep medicine at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Bell is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and in sleep medicine, psychiatry and neurology, and clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is affiliated with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
