Things were glitchy, but we figured a way around it. Dr Grant was wonderful to deal with and we have something in the works to try to correct my problems. I prefer in person visits, but Dr Grant made this a pleasant experience for me.

Having completed the majority of my Orthopaedic Surgery training at the University of Virginia, it has been a privilege to return to practice in Charlottesville. I emphasize conservative treatment of Orthopaedic conditions of the extremities and only recommend surgical management when other methods are unsuccessful.
My specialty training within Orthopaedics is Sports Medicine. I concentrate my efforts significantly within knee, shoulder arthroscopic and open surgical procedures. I provide emergency care for fractures and treat a wide range of general orthopaedic conditions.
I recognize the high level of trust patients place in my hands. I strive to provide the highest level of communication and expertise in Orthopaedic care to all of my patients.

I found my visit with Dr. Grant excellent. He was very knowledgeable in the diagnosis phase. I had been seeing UVA for my knee and wasn't told nearly half my problems that Dr. Grant mentioned. I was extremely impressed. He was very friendly and felt very comfortable
with him. He smiles a lot too by the way. I like that he lets me decide on what I want to do and not try to push treatments on me.
I value his suggestions on my care and will definitely return for future visits. Peaceful environment and very nice people, like the receptionist and the staff that gets you set up to see Dr. Grant. As for being seen within 30 min., that's because I was really early.

I had my first visit with Dr. Grant today. I found his staff very friendly and welcoming. My visit went well and I was left with the impression that the Doctor had a grasp of my situation and was knowledgeable and caring. During my visit I did not feel rushed and I also felt that Doctor Grant listened to my concerns and communicated to me how to proceed. Moving forward with Dr. Grants help it is my hope that I can eliminate my pain and return to an active lifestyle.

This was one of my best experiences with a medical practice. I was able to make an appointment quickly. When I arrived early, they took me right away. GM, the PA, was superb and explained everything to me. Anytime I had to wait (e.g. for X-ray results), GM told me kept me informed. When they figured out what was going on, they gave me options about my treatment choices. They also explained when I could expect relief and how we would proceed if our first course of action didn't work. Great experience!

I went to my visit rather nervous as I had heard that the procedure I was having done on my elbow would be very painful. I must say that my nerves were quickly eased by very friendly and knowledgeable office staff that greeted me and who explained to me exactly what will be done during procedures. Dr. Grant was warm and compassionate, and took extra time to make sure my elbow was fully numb before beginning the procedure. I hardly felt a thing! I highly recommend Dr. Grant to anyone for their orthopedic needs you will not find a more caring doctor anywhere.
