He is at present Chairman of the Division of Neurology at the Prince George's Hospital Center, and has served as Chairman of the Division of Quality Assurance at Doctors' Community Hospital. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution and teaches at that institution on a part time basis.
His practice deals with the care of both adults and children with neurologic illnesses. Many of the primary medical conditions that Dr. Leahy treats are epilepsy, stroke, headaches, and attention deficit in children.
