We were grateful to not have to wait for an appointment for my daughter as a new patient. The on-boarding process was painless and she was seen on time, as we arrived a few minutes early to fill in paperwork. Dr. Rappaport provided a diagnosis and treatment using lower cost over-the-counter medications, along with some practical advice of the kind teenagers rarely take from their parents. The whole process was swift and efficient.

Dr. Rappaport received his undergraduate education at Cornell University receiving a BA in 1979. After undergoing his first two years of medical training in Mexico at the Universidad Del Noreste he finished his clinical academic training at the University of California Irvine medical college in 1983. After returning to New York, Dr. Rappaport completed the following medical training:

Dr. Rappaport is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Weill Medical College since 1990 and was actively involved in training allergy fellows until 1997. He retains hospital privileges at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Rappaport was board certified in Pediatrics in 1988 and recertified in 1996. Board certification in Allergy & Immunology was attained in 1991 and recertification in August 2001. He continues his commitment to medical education and research and received The Physician Recognition Award from The American Medical Association in 2001.

Great doc and great staff. I would suggest that he replace the 2 chairs in the room, as it has large stains/ring marks on the seats. I can only imagine what the stains are from....

First time going to an allergist, and definitely made the right choice. Dr. Rappaport and his entire staff were excellent from start to finish. I didn't feel like the Doctor was rushed, he spent time chatting with me and explaining my symptoms. Angie was also a doll, highly recommend

This visit was for my 3 year old son. We just moved to the city and were looking for a new pediatrician anyway, but my son (who has a history of allergies) started having breathing issues. Dr. Rappaport really took the time to understand the history, my concerns, and recommend a course of treatment. I'm super picky about doctors, and our experience was great. We expect to stick with him as both primary care ped and allergist for my son.

They seem to have trouble with billing. They called a few times to ask me about my own insurance, I phoned my insurance, and it turned out they just never called to ask the question to the insurance company.

The staff here is friendly and helpful, and wait times usually do not exceed 5 min. The doctors are informative and always take the time to clearly explain treatments and procedures.

Dr. Rappaport was consulted by me for uncontrolled asthmas and allergies. He took his time and through his thorough exam and testing uncovered my specific triggers. He was eventually able to treat my symptom with the right combination of medication. He was very thorough and caring in his approach.

The doctor was wonderful and attentive. He answered all of my questions and put me at ease. We love having him as our doctor for our two sons. We trust him and appreciate his warm bedside manner. He is extremely knowledgeable.

My visits has always been pleasant enviroment. I have been coming to Dr. Rappaport with all three of my kids my oldest is 21 then 14 and my last is now 2. My visit have always been great anytime. I need anything its always done in a timely manner.
