Dr. Wise earned his Doctor of Medicine at Creighton University in Nebraska. He completed his internship, surgical residency and urology residency at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Wise is a member of the American Medical Association, Clark County Medical Society, Las Vegas Urologic Society and American Urological Association Western Section. He is past president of the Las Vegas Urologic Society and was Chief of Urology at Sunrise Hospital.
Dr. Wise is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

These people took three weeks to call me back after being referred by my primary care. Their office process is horrible. I went in for a cancer screening and they bungled the scheduling so I had to wait over a month to be seen after a high PSA count showed up on a blood test. Dr. Wise's office does not have its act together.

Every time I went to this doctor I had to wait more than an hour to be seen and the doctor take 10 minutes the most with you. He spends more time on the hallway than with the patient. Today was the last straw , when even though I had only one patient before me and I was assured by multiple staff members that should not take to long, 45 minutes later, the “good” doctor decided to take the patient that had appointment 20 minutes after mine, after being informed that I was next... so I decided to change my doctor to a more considerate practice

Very impersonal and felt like a number. I came with a complicated issue and he pretty much shrugged and asked what tests he wanted me to do. How could i know, im not a doctor he is! He barely reviewed the info i provided him. Did not seem to care about finding a diagnoses, just wanted to get me out the door. Bad experience over all

Dr. Wise is an Excellent physician. He actually sit down with you and talks with you. He asks a few questions which you can relate too ("Can you sit through a movie?). He explains what he thinks, suggests a course of action, executes and has you come back for follow-up. Utilize him. I would never have left but my insurance Sierra Health and Life PPO is not accepted in his office (or was not summer '15). He shows that medical professionals are indeed professionals :)

Dr. Wise was good, the rest of the office experience left a lot to be desired. Jam packed waiting room, no bathrooms, frustrated patients waiting,
Sent medical records early so the doc would have them, but he never saw them, I feel that I wasted my time with that effort.

What I thought would be a routine checkup developed into an important uncovering of a chronic condition that had existed for months. Appropriate testing was done and a plan of action was begun to resolve the problem. Professionalism of doctor and staff exceeded my expectation.
