Very professional the entire visit was almost 2 hours however I prefer Dr. Almonte for all visits. Practitioners seen in the past seem to not remember all problems. I prefer consistency and knowledge about each case on my case. Thank you.

Dr. Almonte was very understanding and thorough with any and all questions I had. He made sure I understood the treatment plan he recommended for me. He took his time, did not rush, I'm very pleased with the office staff and Dr. Almonte, and would definitely refer my friends and family if need be.

Dr. Almonte graduated with his Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from New York University in 2005, then attended the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate in 2009. He went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Almonte is board certified in both Pain Management and Anesthesiology by The American Board of Anesthesiology. He believes in a more holistic approach to pain management and will work with you to explore the most effective methods in treating your particular concerns.
He has expertise in a wide variety of procedures and interventions used to alleviate pain. Due to the nature of his specialty, it is necessary for him to review your medical history prior to an appointment. He also believes it is important to use pain medication very conservatively and only when necessary, for example in the case of cancer pain or hospice care, and does his part to help slow the opioid epidemic our country is facing. He will not prescribe or refill medications prescribed by previous providers, nor will he see patients without insurance who are “self-pay”. Please ensure you are providing working contact information so his office can contact you in a timely fashion to obtain your medical records including past medications and surgeries prior to your scheduled Zocdoc appointment. Without this information prior to your appointment, Dr. Almonte will be unable to see you in his office. Thank you!
