Dr. Wolfgang Goodier grew up in Dallas, Texas. What he loved most about his hometown is something he now values about Chicago: its culture. He credits Dallas’ diversity with teaching him how to relate to and respect others, regardless of their background, and how to build meaningful relationships that now help define his practice.
Dr. Wolfgang found chiropractic care after surviving a devastating head-on collision that left him with multiple broken bones and a traumatic brain injury. His journey with holistic healing revealed a deeper purpose: he realized he was meant to become a chiropractor. Today, Dr. Wolfgang continues to be inspired by the body’s innate intelligence and its remarkable ability to heal itself.
What patients appreciate most about Dr. Wolfgang are his strong clinical skills, empathy, and heart for natural healing. They love the fun and warmth he brings to the clinic, and the authenticity that has made him so relatable. He describes his North Orleans clinic as an atmosphere where anyone can feel comfortable.
He defines wellness as the ability to stay grounded and healthy, even when things aren’t in balance – but also emphasizes the importance of balance itself in one’s overall wellness, and how it helps us adapt when life is challenging.
He maintains his own wellness by enjoying time in nature, working out, practicing yoga, playing instruments, and singing devotional music. He currently plays guitar and a traditional Indian hand drum called a Mrdanga, He also credits his deep connection to his spiritual and religious practices with helping him maintain his wellness.
