Xiaoming (Ruthy) Feng, M.D, Ph.D, is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Massachusetts, US, an attending physician and assistant professor of TCM in Shanghai, China.
Ruthy received her Bachelor’s degree in TCM and M.D in Neurology from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007, then Ph.D from Fudan University in 2010. During her internship in Shandong Provincial Hospital of TCM, Ruthy was fascinated by the effect of TCM, even on patients with difficult and complicated diseases, most of which had been diagnosed as incurable by western medicine. Since then she regarded TCM as a career to dedicate lifetime. Since 2011, she conducted research and practiced acupuncture & herbal medicine in Shanghai Institute of Acupuncture and Meridian, the top 2 acupuncture institute in China. During 2017-2018 she was a visiting scholar to Harvard Medical School. She came back to America in 2021 and practiced acupuncture & herbal medicine since then.
She is good pelvic dysfunction such as incontinence (post-natal, post-surgery), neurogenic bladder; Women’s endocrine problems: infertility, dysmenorrheal, PCOS, and menopausal syndrome; Pain conditions such as migraine, neck/shoulder/lower back/knees pain, herpes zoster pain; Metabolic disorders such as obesity, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic syndrome (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipemia) et al.
