About Dr. Yan Nuzbrokh
Dr. Yan Nuzbrokh is one of our new pediatricians from Northwell Cohen Children’s Residency program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from University of Rochester and his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. With a passion for child development, he has extensive experience providing comprehensive care for diverse patient populations. To empower families and provide individualized treatment plans, he fosters a supportive relationship that is rooted in open communication and trust. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, walking around central park, and trying new restaurants. He is fluent in Russian.

Dr Yan is downright amazing! He is extremely thorough, takes time to ask questions and understand the symptoms and timeline of the illness. He has an affable, respectful and patient demeanor—also made sure to ask my 8 year old child if he had any questions (involving him in the process). Will definitely recommend!

My son has been a patient at Apple Peditrics for over 10 years and he has always received excellent care. Dr. Yan has been amazing for him now that he is 13. Our son feels very comfortable with Dr. Yan and he has helped us so much.

Very kind and efficient doctor. The only thing that didn't make it a perfect experience was that the receptionist at the office was extremely rude, arrogant and lazy. I felt humiliated and surprised by her audacity in accusing me in a harsh tone that I was lying about having insurance. Fortunately, the other receptionist ( a guy) was kind and willing to help.

Dr. Yan Nuzbrokh was amazing, my child, a teenager felt comfortable right away. Dr. Nuzbrokh was very polite, listened carefully, offered options for future actions. It felt like a true conversation and partnership. When I didn't remember some data regarding past visits, he went to my child's file outside the office to double check and be absolutely sure. Highly recommended!

Dr. Yan Nuzbrokh is an exceptional pediatrician. He combines expertise with warmth, making the visit comfortable for both children and parents. He’s thorough, listens carefully, and genuinely cares about his patients’ well-being. With Dr. Nuzbrokh, you can trust your child is in great hands. Highly recommended! Both of my kids had a great experience with him and with everybody in his office!
