I've been seeing Dr. Wolfson for over 10 years for annual checkups and can highly recommend him.
Very nice. Very smart. We will see what the tests reveal, but he seemed to know exactly what was going on and even drew me a picture with pen and paper. Thanks for the peace of mind, Yan.
Great doctor! Answered all my questions. Wait time was 35 minutes
5 minute wait, great doctor, provided me with a ton of information. was extremely nice, easygoing, answered all my questions, and made me feel very comfortable. will definitely be using this doctor in the future.
The entire staff and Dr. Wolfson were very professional. The wait time was only around 15 minutes and the Dr. heard me out completely, asked questions and explained in detail what the diagnosis is and the treatment. Overall, a very satisfying experience.
I thought Dr. Wolfson was great. He was clear, concise and detail oriented which I truly appreciate. He drew a great diagram that aided well in his explanation. Overall, I felt he was excellent and will recommend.
Very knowledgeable and empathetic.
An excellelnt, ultra professional and understanding physician. Outstanding.
Well-mannered, competent and reassuring. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Wolfson.
Dr. Wolfson was very thorough and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions. His staff squeezed me into a booked schedule when I explained the urgency of my situation. Thank you to the Dr. and his team for assisting me!
Was on time for appointment (even had forms filled out in advance) and was asked to wait in waiting. After 45 minutes of waiting was told still 4 people ahead of me. Couldn't stick around any longer.
Absolutely agree with the best what was said by other patients about this GREAT DOCTOR ! His professionalism and human qualittes ("bedside manners"!) have been in striking contrast with my previous disgusting experience with some other urologists whose main goal was only to pull out all possible money from Medicare and Medicaid!
Dr. Wolfson was more attentive than any other urologist that I have encountered so far. Just from the perspective of someone solving a problem (chronic condition), I felt I received the necessary attention and detail needed to diagnose me. He was thorough and logical. He also had background information about any issues I raised. Overall, great experience and I would recommend him to anyone:)
This was my second visit to Dr. Wolfson. He is very laid back and calm and does his job very well. He is very personable and easy to talk to. I like the fact that doctors now use the computer to store information so that you do not have refill forms etc. And prescriptions are sent directly to your pharmacy, which means you can pick up your medication within an hour of your visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wolfson and NY Presbyterian Hospital.
He knows his stuff and I felt really comfortable with him.
Dr. Wolfson answered my many questions thoughtfully and in no way condescendingly. He listened. His curiosity about my symptoms felt genuine. He cares about being a good physician. However, his office is run very inefficiently. I've seen him twice and both times I've had to wait for about an hour. I don't understand why that has to happen. It is worth the wait, but it's annoying.
Complete lack of communication after I went in for a urinary test. Nobody ever relayed any results back to me, and when I finally called and asked for them, they refused to tell me anything unless I came in for the same test again. Additionally, I had to wait about an hour for my first appointment. Absolutely would not recommend again - staff was uncoordinated and doctor did not seem to care much.
Dr. Wolfson is an amazing professional. Was more than willing to answer all of my many questions
He had great explanations: answered questions, drew diagrams and was very reassuring.
Excellent doctor. Did not rush the appointment and explained everything in detail.
Doctors helpful but waited in the waiting room for well over an hour after scheduled appointment time. No time for that!
Dr. Wolfson is very knowledgeable and treats you very nice. Doesn't force unnecessary testing and starts low doses of medications. has excellent bedside manners. would definitely return.
While the wait could be a little more than usual, it is definitely worth it if you want a doctor who know's their stuff like the back of their hand.
This was my first visit with Dr. Wolfson and he was very personable. He took the time to explain things to me and drew some diagrams showing me how things work. He knows his stuff and I would highly recommend him.
Super quick wait, great consultation, informative.
Dr. Wolfson took the time to explain the possible causes of my condition and treatment options thoroughly. He listened to my questions and gave thorough answers.
The doctor is very good and friendly. Understands the patients problem correctly.
Dr. Wolfson is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain. I do not hesitate in recommending Dr. Wolfson.
My visit to Dr. Wolfson's office was fast and to the point. Within 1/2 hour of the appointed time, I was in the examination room with Dr. Wolfson. He is pleasant, easy to talk to and to the point. This was my first visit with Dr. Wolfson but it will not be my last. I will definitely maintain a relationship with this doctor. The office is efficient and as hospital offices go, clean and reasonably pleasant, with the constant TV that doctors' offices seem to think is necessary to amuse[?] and distract patients.
Very happy with my experience with Dr Wolfson. He was very professional and friendly.
Knew long wait was to be expected, was about 40 min past scheduled time. Dr Wolfson is worth it though. Very kind and right to the point - explains everything in great detail and takes great interest in you.
It was easy for me to discuss my condition with Dr. Wolfson. He asked all the right questions and made me feel at ease. He recommended ultrasounds and low dose medication. I'm scheduling a follow up visit in 6 weeks.
Doctor is very good. He talks very well with patients. Treatment is good. But waiting time is too bad.
Excellent Doctor, very attentive to details.
Very happy with my visit. Recommend.
Great doctor, goes much deeper with research than any other Urologist.
I recommend confirming with office after making appointment online .
First time visit and this review is based on my initial consultation only. Dr. Wolfson has a wonderful bedside manner when speaking to you. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand and presented me with different options and possibilities for treatment and was sincerely interested in whether I had a preference, rather than simply prescribing one mode of treatment without informing me of other options. I was called out of the waiting room about 40 mins after my scheduled appointment time which was at 9:15am. I'd read online that a wait time was to be expected and so I planned ahead and wasn't surprised. I would not be happy about the wait if Dr. Wolfson wasn't such a pleasure to work with, but given his overall demeanor, knowledge and interaction style, I don't mind a bit. Highly recommended, just make sure your schedule is flexible.
The wait to see the doctor was a lot longer than my actual exam. But he was thorough and had a fine bedside manner. However, his follow up needs improvement. I have been trying to reach him for 4 weeks to find out the results of my lab tests and I can't even get a hold of his assistant. Normally, doctors don't call if there is nothing wrong (which I have a problem with too) but I received a letter from his office saying something was wrong and I still haven't heard anything directly.
Very professional. In and out in 30 minutes.
The experience of scheduling appointment va ZocDoc was awesome. The doctor is also very knowledgeable and had great bedside manners.
Overall, he was able to diagnose my condition and I will follow-up with him in future months. Great Doctor!
Addressed my needs and has been very professional. Will continue to keep him as my Urologist.
Doctor excellent. Staff excellent. Facility so-so.
It was good
Great physician. Would definitely recommend. Be prepared for lengthy wait time.
It was good. Doc is very nice
Very professional, very friendly, very easy to talk to. Did have to wait for while.
Great overall experience, felt better afterwards
It was good. I didn't wait long to see the doctor, he was very straightforward and businesslike, like he'd been though this a million times, I didn't feel rushed, he seemed quick to prescribe pharmaceuticals for everything but that's probably how all of medicine works. No reason not to recommend the guy!
Very thorough and helpful. Getting in touch with his office by phone was difficult, the only way I could schedule was through Zocdoc.
very good, he is a great doctor
Fabulious ! He's a patient, caring, doctor
he was great! I didn't feel embarrassed at all talking about my boner problems.
Great bedside manner, really took the time to listen to my thoughts and explain the possible causes without being dismissive or impatient. Wait was longer than I would like, especially so early in the morning (how do you get an hour behind at 9:30am?), but worth the wait.
Although the wait time was long, the staff was courteous and the doctor was kind and personable. He took his time to discuss my history and his thoughts on my condition, and made appropriate recommendations for next steps and follow up. He made me feel very comfortable and I was confident he understood what was going on.
He's great! Listens to every concern and takes his time with you. Of course this means you have to wait for his services. I always block out a 2-2 1/2 hour time period when seeing him as leave me time if he's going long. Definitely worth the wait.
Well worth the wait. Very personable.
Very thorough and very professional. The wait time was longer than desired (over an hour) but it was worth it when he finally saw me. I would go back if needed.
Wonderful doctor, takes his time answering your questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. The trade off for that of course is the wait time of nearly an hour and 1/2.
Dr. Wolfson is awesome, but if you want to see him, prepare to take a half day off at work. Their office overbooks, and everyone waits at least an hour past their check in time. I waited NINETY minutes for my appointment.
No complaints, explained things I needed to know, walked out without any issues.
Excellent bedside manner and attitude.
It was just excellent
Doc himself was good, but had to wait far too long.
wait time was excessive, put the doctor under time pressure during consultation it felt rushed.
The very nice careing doctor. Good specialist. I have been visining him for years.
Exellent knowlegeble doctor
Great. on Time. Courteous. Professional
He was great - I'll certainly recommend him!
He was very professional and thorough with his explanations and recommendations.
Despite a computer SNAFU that caused an almost two-hour wait, I would highly recommend Dr. Wolfson. Not only was the hospital immaculately clean and bright (thereby making my wait pleasant), he was quite disarming and comforting. He took the time to answer my questions.
Lovely manner, will see how he follows up!
He surely is a great doctor and takes time to understand the real problem. Wait sucks though!!
Extremely long wait time. The doctor wasn't able to diagnose problem and also didn't spend time to explain. I felt more worried when I left.
Great actual appointment but waiting room we disorganized and crowded. Waited for nearly an hour to be seen. Love being able to book online.
Long wait around noon, but other than that, everything went well.
