Dr. Gu is excellent and professional. He was actually different listened and helped me to discover I had issues I didn’t even know about. I highly recommend him. But it’s hard to make an appointment with Dr. Gu and you had better prepare for waiting at the office because a lot of people hope to see him.

Saw my particular case which he had never seen before and sat there for a while and silently pondered on it, eventually deciding on a game plan. The two urologists I saw before him both shooed me away, essentially telling me that this sort of thing was outside their particular fields of expertise. It’s a good feeling when you find a doctor who doesn’t just tell you to go elsewhere if you’re having a problem that their set of cookie cutter treatment plans can’t immediately solve.

Very well-trained. Dr. Gu will provide you with excellent medical care. There is a bit of a wait... but it's only because he has a great many patients who feel the same as I do.

The doctor was apologetic after I had to repeat a test several times because he didn't have the correct instructions of how to do it. The first time he didn't have the equipment required to do the test. He prescribed medicine based on my suspicions of having some viruses before I undergone any tests. When I said why should I take the medicine even before we have the test results he said "you don't have to." I didn't take the meds and luckily all tests came negative.

Before I even saw the doctor I was asked to pay a deductible to his office. So I had to explain to the young lady taking my info that my deductible is between my insurance company and myself, certainly not to them right now at the counter, and least of all before I have even seen the good doctor or been examined. Then she tried to charge me more than my copay. Wow, ok. So when the good doctor does finally show up after a 45 minute wait he goes right into how he is not familiar with my insurance even though his office takes it. Leaving right there would have been the best move. I didn't. I received a less than mediocre exam based on the fact that he was fearful he would not get paid for services. If you decide on this doctor/office...good luck.
