Dr. Moran is a great Doctor. She really takes her time to make sure all my healthcare needs are met. Even, during her time off of work, she goes beyond her duties as a doctor to her patient to make sure her patients are doing well. I have never met a doctor who cares about her patients as much she does. I drive a long distance to see her, but, I would never consider changing doctors. She is certainly worth the distance.

I feel that she is a good doctor and a very nice person. However she did not seem to know anything about Celiac Disease and really did not seem to hear what I was saying. This may have been because she had a limited amount of time and therefore was rushed. After 50 years of doctors not hearing my issues or not taking them seriously before I was finally diagnosed with Celiac Disease, it is important to me that I feel that my doctor really hears what I am saying and takes it into consideration. It maybe that Tufts needs to give their doctors more time for each appointment.

I had to change my primary care physician because my work location changed, and Dr. Moran's office was located in the same area. I originally went in for a pap smear but I also thought about getting a pelvic exam. Dr. Moran knew I am planning to try to conceive soon, so before I even asked, she suggested performing a pelvic exam and a pap smear for me to see if everything is fine. She made both procedures quick and painless! Pap smear exam was done in about 15 to less than 20 seconds. I had another primary care doctor a few years back and she did a pap smear for me that was a bit painful and uncomfortable for me to walk post procedure, so I had no idea this exam could be so smooth and PAINLESS like Dr. Moran had done it for me. Also, after getting my medical records she found that I had anemia, and she wanted me to check my iron level checked to make sure if it's not something more serious. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Moran to anyone seeking a primary care physician and/or to have their pap smear/pelvic exam.
Lastly, Dr. Moran's medical assistant was extremely friendly and welcoming. She made the visit a whole lot more pleasant.

I read some negative reviews about Dr. Moran's bedside manner before making an appointment. So I wanted to see her a second time before leaving a review.
And you know what? I'm not looking for a hug or a new best friend. No, she isn't very warm. However the doctor is super thorough, didn't rush, spent a very long time with me and asked what seemed like a hundred and one questions. She works for me because she gets down to business and tries to find other physicians to help solve heath issues without hesitation.

I was early for my appointment but still was taken almost immediately. I was a new patient there and Dr. Moran took a very thorough medical history of myself and my family. I thought she was a bit too business-like for me, but then again, your health is certainly serious business. All in all, I was very impressed from start to finish! Even the other staff members were so wonderful including reception area, the nurse, lab techs and check-out. It just made for a very positive experience!
