I love this doctor! I had a bad experience with my previous doctor. Dr. Westford is very intelligent and up to speed. I did my own research for my fertility journey and she validated what I already knew but more. I will definitely return and recommend. I have searched high and low for a good Ob. She is now my ObGYn for good. Doctors are extremely busy and she didn’t seem too busy to answer all my questions in detail.

My initial interaction with Dr. Westford was average. Nothing that occurred swayed me to return or to find a new doctor. However, my follow up interaction with her has been nothing short of unpleasant. When I received my test results I was not contacted to discuss the information. It was merely uploaded in the portal with no additional communication. It didn't seem important to establish strong and open communication with new patients. It seemed as though it didn't matter whether I returned or not.
My next interaction with her staff sealed the deal for me. Dr. Westford was willing to gamble with my health as well as those of her patients' and staff. During the pandemic and stay-at-home order she insisted that I come in for a non-essential exam in order to receive a refill on my prescription. Her staff relayed that she was not willing to adapt her policies during these trying times and that my safety (or anyone else's) was not a priority. I would not recommend beginning a medical relationship with Dr. Yvette Westford, MD.

Talk about telling a pre-menopausal woman the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! That's what Dr. Westford did today. She took her time and explained to me how she was going to help me get what I needed to be my "best wife, mother, and person" as I transition into menopause. It's her mission! God spoke to me through her. I'm going to to get the hormone replacement that I need. I trust her and I wish I would have known her before I turned 52.

Dr.Westford spends time to explain to you what's happening inside your body and the options to take care of yourself. She is one of the few doctors I've met that would do that, most others order a test and prescribe without detailed explanations. She cares very much about her patients, definitely coming back to her!
