Loved the office from the get go. Before I arrived everyone on the phone was kind and authentic. Upon getting there that continued and they were sympathetic and caring. Dr. Wassmuth listened, was totally present to what I was saying and offered many alternatives to treatment giving me complete information with being overwhelming. I highly recommend him with 5 Stars!

My daughter got a pebble stuck in her ear. Dr Wassmuth assessed and realized he wouldn't be able to remove it without more pain than my 5 year old could manage, so he scheduled her to have it removed under anesthesia the next morning. Other than some nausea afterwards, everything went fine.

Dr. Wassmuth was very professional and easy to talk with. He diagnosed me by checking what was needed. My previous test were sent prior to my appointment with him, so he already had a good idea of my current situation. After a short collaboration, he gave me my options and we discussed them in detail. It was determined that my case was one of the most severe he has dealt with. He gave me his professional opinion on what procedure I should consider and I chose the best method of treatment he proposed. I was told that the procedure had an 80-90% success rate and I'm optimistic that it will help me overcome my condition! I highly recommend his services and have my father making an appointment with him right away. Thanks Dr.

I think this is my 3rd time to see him. I was in a great deal of pain when I got there and had been to the ER the night before and endured a lot of pain at the ER. So refreshing to see someone be gentle and patient while taking care of the problem.

My family has been patients of Dr. Wassmuth's for 15 years now. If he could be our family care doctor, we would have already signed up. He has done an amazing job getting my babies through the younger years with tubes, and he also helped my son to deal with a chronic sinus issue. His bed-side manner is awesome, and he is truly an exceptional doctor who has always demonstrated a caring attitude each and every appointment. We have been grateful to have such a caring doctor to help us get through those sick days and back to work or school!

Contacted Dr. W after complications from a procedure done by another practitioner earlier that day. Dr. W was on call and was very responsive. He also worked me into his schedule the next day and made time to perform a revision of the procedure. Accommodations and bedside manner was exemplary.

I went to Dr Wassmuth for a deviated septum and after a quick cat scan he found several other issues as well. He told me about the balloon surgery and explained to me that he wouldn't have to pack my nose and the recovery time would only be 1-3 days. I thought that he was full of it; I imagined black eyes, swollen nose, and excruciating pain. I took the day off during surgery and told my manager about it. When I woke up from surgery, I was expecting to feel a lot of pain, but didn't. The only bad part was my nose was bleeding the whole day. I took Tylenol, not because I was in pain, but it was just a precaution just in case some type of anesthesia they gave me for pain during the surgery wore off. By that night my nose stopped bleeding and I went to work the next day. My manager was surprised to see me because he thought I would still be in too much pain to make it in. It's only been a week and I have had some congestion which is normal, but even with that, I breath easier and sleep better. If I knew then what I know now, I would have had this done way sooner. It was so easy and painless.

Dr. Wassmuth is very professional but with high regard in to speaking just like another human to human instead of like a doctor with no time to be personable only to see clients as clients. When you are having to make a decision regarding surgery of any kind, it is very helpful when the Doctor takes the time to explain all issues and not rush thru everything. I know everyone runs on schedules, I do also, but I will always take the time to make sure the person is comfortable and knowledgeable. This is how he conducts his practice. Wears a smile and makes sure you are happy with the way things are going. Kudos in the highest. Also High regards to all assistants and office staff. Very welcoming and Sociable as helpful. Dr. Wassmuth is one of the most professional, if not the best, and personable ENT doctors in Austin. There's never a long wait and he's treated our entire family of four. In addition, his office staff goes beyond the call of duty to work with you on scheduling. My son and I just saw him today, both with appointments, and he's spot on with treatment.

Excelllent service all around. Just finished 'new person' paperwork when called into office. After a few minutes for 'vitals', Dr Wassmuth entered. Thorough exam. Took time to read my notes describing a long-standing problem.
Got immediate diagnosis and heard just the advice I needed for self-care to recovery. Nirvana.

After visiting with Dr. Wassmuth for the first time, I knew I would get the care I wanted and could not get from the sleep doctor in Waco, TX.
I called several times prior to my visit. Each person I spoke with was extremely helpful and never made me feel as if I was taking too much of their time. I received the same treatment when I was there for my visit.
I was so impressed with Dr. Wassmuth and the other staff members, that I decided to make the trip to Austin from Waco as often as necessary. I asked Dr. Wassmuth to take over my sleep issues.
It was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Wassmuth is a fantastic doctor. After struggling with chronic sinus infection I went to see if Dr.Wassmuth could help. He recommended a in office procedure that has taken away the infections and I am able to breathe better. I also take my daughter here for her hearing disorder and they are amazing with her .
