Dr. Anwar is very thorough. I appreciate the time he takes and the results I receive. I have been to other pain management clinics and this has been the only doctor to significantly reduce my pain.

Dr. Zaki Anwar, Director of the Pain Management Institute, has been practicing pain management since 1997.
Dr. Anwar is an anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist. He completed his clinical pain fellowship from University of Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee and is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, Interventional Spinal Injection Society and American Society of Interventional Pain. He is also affiliated with various hospitals and health centers and is actively involved with ongoing studies of cancer pain management. Dr. Anwar engages in all modalities of pain management with expertise in implantable technology, fluoroscopic guided needle placement, epiduralysis and reflex sympathetic dystrophy.

Well, first of all they said I didn't have an appointment listed, when I booked with Zoc Doc. Then I had to fill out all the forms again after I did it with Zoc Doc. Why would you have us fill out the forms online & then have to do it all over again at the office. I had to wait almost 2 hours to see him. He seemed very nice & said he has many options to offer me for my pain. I have to get an MRI first. They don't seem to be very organized at the office.

Dr Anwar listened to everything I had to say and followed up with questions to make sure everything was clear. He was great. The one thing I love about him is that he's conservative. Most pain docs are pill pushers, NOT dr Anwar! He set me up for an injection and told me that he will do everything in his power to make sure that my pain is relieved! I highly recommend him. How many doctors can you say that about... Especially after just the FIRST visit!?!? He's great, and I look forward to the relationship we are going to have. If you're in pain and out of options, go talk to Dr Anwar! Wonderful, wonderful Doctor!!!!
