I was in and out of the office in 25 minutes including x-ray. I couldn't believe how fast and courteous and knowledgeable the staff is. Highly recommend this place if you have any kind of emergency.

I made an appointment over the weekend because my regular doctor was sick. I only went to him because it's "urgent care". My throat was swollen to the point where it was hard to breathe talk or swallow. I don't remember her name I think it was Jamila took my temperature which was 99.6 and throat culture for strep throat. The Dr. has two strep test one thats only 75% accurate and the other which is 100% accurate. The test that is 100% will take 2 days to get the results. This place is supposed to be urgent care why would I have to wait 2 days. He tells me I am not running a fever but I am visibly sweating. He says he is not going to give me any antibiotic's but antisceptic mouthwash, it was not a antiscepitc but a anesthetic called lidocaine which does nothing but numb tissue not reduce swelling fight infection or anything. I leave just in hope that maybe the mouthwash he prescribed will help because at this point I had no idea what it was. I waited until the following day to check back to see about the results, nothing yet. Once it was finally two days I called again they tell me around 330 in the afternoon they have had the results but did not get around to calling because the women who usually calls was busy, after that I'm told that it's not strep and that what the doctor prescribed should help. I let her know it was not helping at all and if there's anything else they could do. I am told that they will call me back after they talk to the doctor.I get a call back around 630 letting me know that the doctor says again he will not give me antibiotic's for whatever reason and that I should make an appointment at an ENT if my throat doesn't get better. I feel robbed for having paid to be refused help. I work two jobs just to support my family, not only did I miss work but I was not given any help, is that not the point of going to a doctor in the first place.

I didn't have high expectations coming in here based on the reviews- I just needed to get a test done. The nurses/front desk staff were in slippers and sitting on the counter texting the whole time. There was no privacy heading to the bathroom and taking the test- I had to walk through the waiting room holding my sample!
They left the door open to the office the entire time I was in there- everyone could see in! Isn't that a violation of some sort? Also the doctor walked back and forth the open door multiple times just wandering around looking for something to do (as I was waiting to be seen by him). He finally stopped by my door in surprise "oh! Are you waiting to be seen by a doctor?!" Um, yes.... I am....
The worst worst worst office I've ever been to. Even if you have to go for an emergency.... go somewhere else.

Don't bother making an appointment here. It's urgent care. I have no idea why they're on zocdoc. When I got there, only one doctor was working and there was about 15 people waiting. I feel like I got duped into going there. Though I will say they're Amityville location was great. If you need urgent care I the south shore go
