Dr. Zhou was very professional and thorough in asking questions about my condition and answering any of my questions. He put me at ease for the procedure. I felt really relaxed. I had no pain in my foot after the appointment for the first hour and then my foot started to ache again from walking around. I need to take it easy. I will be back.

More about Ziyang Zhou, LAc
Dr. Ziyang Zhou is an acupuncturist treating patients in the Austin and greater Texas areas. He has more than 25 years of clinical experience treating patients using traditional Chinese medicine. Born into a family with eight generations of Chinese medicine practitioners, Dr. Zhou’s medical training began in early childhood.
As a part of his medical training, Dr. Zhou studied under his grandfather, Professor Meishing Zhou, a leading authority on moxibustion and famous acupuncturist in China. Dr. Zhou continued his medical education at Anhui College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Earning his doctoral degree, he then attended Heilongjiang Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine to complete a master’s degree in acupuncture and moxibustion.
Since his invitation to the United States by the Chinese Scalp Acupuncture Center in San Francisco, Dr. Zhou has held a number of both clinical and teaching positions. He has served as clinic director at Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and as professor at the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin.
Dr. Zhou is a compassionate, careful, and attentive practitioner. He has been teaching Chinese medicine and acupuncture for over 20 years, in both the United States and in China. Dr. Zhou is not just a provider of excellent care, but is also enthusiastic about sharing his rich knowledge with his patients.

Visits are upscale when you think about a normal doctor's appointment. Patients are seen one on one, with the utmost privacy and care. I visited another clinic once upon the recommendation of a friend. I actually felt cheated paying the fee because the level of care did not meet my expectations. Dr. Zhou is the best!
