Dr. Ben-Zvi trained in Israel in internal medicine and pediatrics. In the United States, Dr. Ben-Zvi was trained in pediatrics at the University of Texas and pulmonary medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is board certified in pediatrics and pulmonary medicine.

I show up with my infant expecting a doctor but told he won't be in nor is he aware he has a patient waiting. I'm told by the secretary that the location doesn't use Zocdoc for scheduling appointments, despite it being listed (and currently still listed) along with times on Zocdoc. After the missing doctor is called by the secretary, I'm seen by another doctor there, Dr. Schiff, and she was prompt and courteous, all-around helpful.

I absolutely do not recommend Dr. Zvi Ben-Zvi. He left the consultation room door open for the duration of my consultation, even after another patient entered the waiting area. I haven't heard back from him regarding my test results. Calls to his Tribeca office don't go through, and I was hung up on when I called the Riverdale office after a receptionist initially picked up. At this point, I will have to go elsewhere to pay for and run tests again.

I am very happy I found this doctor! Finally someone who listens to parents and takes the time to properly evaluate kids needs and parents concerns! Fabulous! I have been searching far and near for pediatricians and ended up with some who wouldn't even weigh the child ( considered it irrelevant), but not here Dr. Zvi knows his profession and knows is well.

In My 47 years of life, this was the worst experience ever encountered. How is it that you fill out a request for a credit card, before health issues? How is it, the doctor introduces himself and straight forward goes into a seminar on car insurance and how health insurance works! This doctor didn't even attempt to ask me, why I was there? Is this an emergency visit or how is your health and well being. How dare you try to just get credit card information for your WELL BEING. I LEFT disgusted and perplexed as to the professionalism experienced. Zocdoc should examine these doctors more carefully for future health insurance patients.

I went to this doctor when I wasn’t feeling well a few weeks ago. He did a number of tests and said his office would call me with the results. I have yet to hear from his office, and no one answers the phone when I call. The TriBeCa office is very dingy and inside a dermatology clinic offering fat removing cool treatments and other bunk cosmetic dermatology. The front office staff was very unprofessional and slow. At one point during my check up, the doctor and someone in the front office got in a loud argument outside the room I was waiting in. The whole experience was very awkward, and was made worse by the fact I was feeling sick.

Dr. Ben Zvi was very professional and gave me a lot of time to go over many medical issues I wanted to discuss. He has been treating our entire family for many years and is incredibly patient and qualified. He has seen us through chest infections, thyroid diseases, strep throat, colds, check-ups and more. In a world where most doctors give you 10 minutes and do not remember your name or your history I am grateful I have a doctor who knows me personally and treats me with the utmost care.

Horrible! Incredibly unprofessional. My visit started with the receptionist on the phone with who must have been a friend or another employee. She was complaining to the other line about Dr. Zvi, and how he can’t make the patients wait like this.” It was around 11:15 am, my apppojyment was at 11am, while the other person sitting in the waiting room was at 10:30 am. 45 min behind. Eventually the other patient waiting along side me got up and told the receptionist that he couldn’t wait anymore, and proceeded to leave. She told him to wait and went to the back where we heard her say to Dr. Zvi, “You have 2 patients waiting. Your 11 is already here (referring to me) You can’t make them wait, your 10:30 has to go. I already took his copay.” Dr. zvi, seeming somewhat flustered, came out front to receive his other appointment, 45 minutes late. He defitnely wasn’t seeing a patient before the 10:30....
I got seen at around 11:45. I was told by the receptionist to “take back your file to the doctor”. As i walked back, i passed dr. Zvi in the hallway as he was on his way into the restroom. Fine, no problem, everyone does their business. When ya gotta go, ya gotta go. But when we reunited in the exam room after his bathroom break, he never treasured his hands. I never saw him was his hands.
My last name does not match that of my mother’s. Instead of seeing me and asking me why he was there, he spent the first 10 minutes of my appointment, in the exam room, about if my insistence would get covered. and trying to figure out if this was my mother or not, who i am a dependent under who’s company supplies her insurance.
I walked out while abruptly left the room to search my insurance. It seems that this doctor is more concerned about money than he is helping his patients. Crazy experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr Zvi Ben-Zvi took his time to listen to my concerns as a new patient asked a series of thoughtful and helpful questions. The check up was very thorough. Dr. Zvi-Ben-Zvi did various tests in the office and gathered as much information about my health as he could. I got my blood work done shortly after and was able to make a follow up appointment very quickly.
