Dr. Alison Ehrlich, a board certified dermatologist, is the former founding Chair and Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Dermatology at The George Washington University. After many years in academic medicine, she is now establishing her private practice in the Washington D.C area, but continuing to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic contact dermatitis and psoriasis as well as cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Ehrlich does not participate with insurance plans.

Would highly recommend Dr.Ehrlich. She did exactly what I wanted and explained exactly what the best plan would be to achieve that goal. The goal was accomplished and I was very pleased. However to be honest there was no one at the front desk when I arrived and when someone came out I announced I was here for an appointment and she said "I'm at lunch" ( she was on her way out) I felt as if perhaps I should apologize for interrupting her time. Eventually another medical assistant came out and said she would be me shortly. That other MA, the I'm at lunch one, did not affect my experience with the doctor, but the initial welcome at any office makes the first impression.

Drove an hour to see her for the first time. Had been to other doctors but always felt I was up against self perpetuating treatment that was better for the doctors business than me. Finally I met Dr. Ehrlich. Down to earth conversation. Now I’d drive two hours to see her!
