Dr Wassef is very patient, understanding and listens to his patients. He takes his time with each patient and builds a connection too with the patient.He is very compassionate as well. Everyone in office was very polite and nice and I appreciated them speaking with me and patience while I sent in my information. Dr was qualified and informative but he was a few minutes late and had some sort of construction happening possibly right next to him in his home and someone obviously walked in to the room and he muted himself and took off the camera for a few moments which was awkward.

During my appointment, I felt consistently unheard and talked over. I had to repeat myself multiple times for my concerns to be acknowledged. For example, I clearly explained why I left a previous job, yet later in the appointment the provider stated that my mental health should not be affecting my work life. When I corrected him and reiterated that I did not leave the job for mental health reasons, he briefly acknowledged it without any apology or reflection.
Throughout the visit, he frequently interrupted me, which made it difficult to communicate my concerns and left me feeling disrespected as a patient. I also found the appointment unhelpful overall.
I left the appointment without receiving meaningful guidance, support, or individualized care. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider to patients seeking attentive, respectful, or patient-centered psychiatric care.
