Carrie Atlass Cohen, LCSW
I am a Park Slope child, adolescent, and perinatal therapist with more than 20 years of experience helping children, teens, parents, and new mothers navigate anxiety, emotional challenges, transitions, and family stress. I offer warm, individualized therapy that meets children, adolescents, and adults where they are—including play therapy when appropriate—and practical support for parents. I also have extensive experience supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and pregnancy loss. I invite you to reach out so we can talk about what you’re looking for and whether I might be a good fit.
Currently I have daytime remote availability and a 5:30PM opening in person on Monday and a 5PM opening on Fridays.
My rate is $275 per 45 minute session and $300 per hour.

Carrie Cohen is wonderful with my child and skillfully addresses all of their numerous therapeutic challenges. In addition, Carrie was the only therapist who was willing to stand up to my high-conflict ex. I understand why the other therapists didn't want to deal with my ex. so I was impressed when Carrie put the needs of my child first and continued to treat them. Carrie is a rare gem of a therapist so do yourself a favor and hire her!

Carrie is incredibly insightful and supportive. She has a knack for understanding the underlying issues and for helping us address. She is always sharing excellent resources that I keep going back to.

Carrie is a wonderful and caring therapist. She has seen both of my children (one neurodivergent, and one neurotypical), and has built great rapport with them. This has enabled her to teach them many new social emotional skills. I'd highly recommend her.
JWVerified patient
Carrie has seen my son for over a year now. She came recommended by another therapist he was seeing that was taking on a new role. She is always professional, and child centered. She has helped him through a lot, and she is communicative and responsive when I need to reach out. She is a wealth of knowledge, and always has thoughtful solutions and methodologies. We are so very grateful to have found her.
