**Please note: I am not an in-network provider with any insurance plan. Patients pay me directly at my full fee and then decide whether to seek reimbursement through their insurance provider, FSA, or HSA.** I help people disrupt unhealthy relationship cycles and find greater fulfillment. As an active and empathic therapist, I believe in getting to the root of someone's difficulties. Together we will identify your feelings and behavior patterns, understand how life events impact your current experience, and enhance your inner resources for achieving your goals. I work with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal problems, and major life transitions. I draw from my psychodynamic training at NYU, postgraduate psychoanalytic certification, and two decades of experience to help you relieve distress, increase coping tools, and improve your quality of life. Finding a good fit is essential when working with any therapist. I offer a brief telephone consultation that allows us to discuss your goals and to decide whether I am the right person to help you accomplish them. First time in therapy. Chris helped us with some issues in our relationship. His responses were consistently thoughtful and went beyond the surface to get to the heart of the matter.

I DECIDED TO LOOK FOR HELP LAST YEAR WHEN WORK STRESSES WERE MOUNTING AND IMPACTING MY PERSONAL LIFE. A FRIEND'S THERAPIST RECOMMENDED CHRIS. HE IS A NICE GUY AND VERY SMART. IT'S BEEN USEFUL TO CARVE OUT TIME IN MY WEEK TO TALK ABOUT THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF STRESS. CHRIS HAS HELPED ME MOVE FROM VENTING TO UNDERSTANDING.
