I’m a clinical therapist with several years of experience working at an inner city hospital in both out-patient and in-patient capacities. After several years of inner-city work, I began practicing in rural areas, where life can be less hectic. My experience has enabled me to work alongside individuals wanting to address everyday life concerns to those diagnosed with severe and persistence mental illness. I treat a wide range of concerns including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, motivational challenges/burnout, mood swings & psychotic disorders. I approach treatment from a holistic perspective & believe diet, exercise, sleep & faith all intersect. My counseling style is supportive, encouraging, interactive & educational. I believe all individuals are worthy of respect & compassion and that it is wrong to criticize others. I experience successful outcomes through use of evidenced-based research. It requires courage to seek change and even consider talking with a counselor.
