Mrs. Anwukah has worked with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics in a variety of settings, including private practice, hospitals, and outpatient mental health clinics.
She evaluates, diagnoses and treats a wide range of psychiatric disorders with evidence-based practice and medication management. Chioma has been very supportive and a wonderful listener to help aid me on my journey to better health. In her, i've found a provider I can rely on and trust.

I had concerns about the strong power differential in the legal agreement where it appeared that the patient was to be a passive recipient of the provider's decisions. The in-person experience was much different. My input was valued, and decisions arrived at together. The one concern I had after the call was that information regarding my therapist (other than his existence) was not solicited. It would seem to me there might be instances where collaboration between providers would be useful. There was also no explanation of how to contact the provider for nonurgent issues (nonemergency reactions to a med prior to the next meeting, for example), only a number for scheduling. A one sentence answer such as , "It's an expected side effect." might be all that's needed, not a session.
