I was distracted by a small crisis and forgot my appointment time. 15 minutes into the time-slot, Ohtae called me and we did the appointment over the phone. I could not thank him enough!

I would really reccomend this provider! The appointment was very efficient and helpful. It can also be hard to talk about mental health and they made the environment feel safe.

He’s pleasant and knowledgeable. Good choice if you need a prescriber for medications but he’s not a talk-therapy provider so you’d probably need a separate therapist in conjunction. There’s a long wait list for counseling/therapy with the clinicians at that office so it’s unlikely you’ll get the convenience of one-stop shopping for your mental health services.

Ohtae Kwon, ARNP was a pleasure to meet with. He was professional, attentive, inquisitive and understanding. He asked relevant questions related to my anxiety. He was thorough in his questioning and you can tell he is genuinely curious and interested in the whole picture. Most of all, I felt treated as an equal human, with respect, and did not feel spoken down to or judged as can sometimes be the experience in mental health settings. I would highly recommend him.
