She was very nice, but I think that her advice is based on old information and way of thinking. She recommended to keep whole egg intake to 2-3 a week. That right there told me this is based on the old food pyramid and certifications from the 80’s Like I said, very nice and is probably a great fit for someone who just needs a sense of direction. But if you’re a health nut trying to optimize your diet/ nutrition, probably not the best fit.

I had a telehealth apt with Tracy Mindiola to help me with dietary issues related to continual flare-ups of diverticulitis and management of chronic diverticulosis. She asked me questions about my current dietary habits, episodes of diverticulitis, health/dietary goals, and challenges, and we mapped out a strategy for how I can eat better to avoid flare-ups, how I should eat when I have one, and long-term strategies for getting more fiber in my diet.
