At New Horizons Center for Healing, we pride ourselves on taking a complete and multifaceted approach to healing the mind and restoring your psychological wellness. Our McKinney center is the most comprehensive private mental health clinic in the North Texas region. Our facility houses, licensed mental health professionals ranging from board-certified psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed professional counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, and play therapists. We are able to provide a comprehensive approach to the treatment of many different conditions and concerns. We provide services for individuals, couples, children, and groups, ranging from marriage and family counseling to depression counseling.

There is such a personal touch given to every session . When there are moments than require a more in dept session with additional family it is addressed immediately.

Heather is one of Gods greatest gifts. I think she fight’s harder for your relationship or Marriage then you do. Upon the first visit just her bed side Manors, energy, and sense of humor just make you feel like you’ve know her forever. And the way she lights up when yo sit in her chair. Just says it all that she lives for helping others and seeing the happiness the relationship brought when you guys as a couple first met. Come back again… I would advise the world to go see her. She’s Non Bia’s ,She see No Color, She extremely animated to help herself better understand where the problem started and how we ended up before her. Over 70 years of experience her service was never questionable if I could give her a Trillion stars I would. If you both want the same thing and just need a few answers, opinion, or just over all help on having a healthy Prosperous marriage or relationship she’s the person.

The doctor never showed up so they canceled my appointment. I was 20 minutes early for my appointment and 25 minutes after my appointment time they told me she was running late and would be another 30 minutes and I said OK then they proceeded to ask me to reschedule for Monday. No thank you I will find somebody else. if you don’t have enough respect for my time, I don’t have time for your time. ?

Mrs. Franks is amazing! She is both professional and understanding, and she genuinely cares about the well-being of her patients. I recall one of our sessions running a bit over time, but she never made me feel rushed and allowed us the time we needed to finish. After each session, I leave feeling so much better than when I arrived, and I always look forward to my next visit. The office staff is also wonderful—attentive, courteous, and professional.
I would highly recommend Mrs. Franks, Mr. Quan, and the entire team!

She is truly amazing at what she does, probably one of the best. I was skeptical about going to therapy but after the first visit I felt so safe and comfortable that I wanted to go back. He is truly amazing. I felt so comfortable and heard during my appointment. He actually listened to me and never made me feel dismissed. He asked thoughtful questions and took the time to explain everything in a way that helped me understand. His front desk staff was also wonderful and very responsive. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

First, I feel that the doctor was great and listened to all my concerns. Remained professional throughout entire appointment. No complaints or comments there.
The only thing I would say, prior to the appointment I felt the office may have called/texted a bit too much for forms/ payment/ and additional information. All of which could have been completed the day of, so the need for the repeat calls and text seemed excessive. Outside of that. Staff and doctor were very friendly when I arrived. I wasn’t giving payment information over the phone. I’m self pay and maybe a bit protective of my financial information. I got there early and was able to be seen before my appointment time, which is always great.
Overall I would definitely recommend the doctor and office to anyone in need of a psychiatrist. Oh & maybe a bit more on the expensive side. But you’ll feel that your money (or insurance co-pay if you have one) was well spent.
