Ephraim Dickinson, MD and the team at Pacific Crest Ortho in San Francisco take a new approach to orthopedic care. We offer direct orthopedic specialist care for any musculoskeletal pain or injury. Additionally, we understand that patients need assessment and treatment sometimes outside of normal office hours, so we stay open late to better serve our patients. Our facilities include onsite X-ray diagnostics and evaluation. Our team offers a wide range of treatment services from definitive fracture care with casting and splinting, injections for pain relief in patients with osteoarthritis, referrals for MRI and CT scans, and when necessary definitive surgical management for more complex injures.

The office was highly efficient and considerate of my time. I had to submit minimal paperwork and the staff were able to quickly pull up my past X-ray records upon request. Dr. Dickinson was quick with his diagnosis and straightforward about all the options available to me and which ones would be worth pursuing. I had minimal wait time to see the technician and to get seen by the doctor after that. Overall a very efficient experience.

I came to see Dr. Dickinson for cubital tunnel syndrome. He was very friendly, comprehensive in his description of the issue, and took the time to answer all the questions I had. He provided a clear treatment plan and next steps. I would recommend him based on my experience.
I came to the office during the coronavirus pandemic and felt comfortable with the cleanliness standards put in place. I was the last appointment of the day so there wasn’t anyone else in the office so I can’t comment on peak crowds. Office was nice and comfortable.

I felt a little rushed and the diagnosis was unclear - the PA said “maybe meniscus, maybe ACL”, then the doctor came in and said “maybe tendonitis or a tight IT band”. In all cases the treatment plan was the same but just felt they didn’t take the time to really understand what was going on.

It was very clean and new clinic, but the doctor I talked to was very cold and seems she didnt try to explain to me the cause of the pain. I felt she looks down on people, and I felt insulted.
The nurse took a x-ray for me was very kind and detailed. I will go to see other doctor since I don't believe her treatment.
