Wow, Johnthap Obakpolor really took the time to be thorough and is a great listener. He wasn't in a rush and was very understanding regarding a pretty urgent situation. Dr. Obakpolor was truly an amazing provider. First, he thoroughly went through my intake and spent more than an hour which was our appointment time. He was very courteous and listened to me ramble because I was an absolute mess. He saw me on a Sunday evening, which is rare, and made sure that he sent in my medication right away. Unfortunately, the pharmacy was an absolute nightmare with problem after problem and no communication. He spoke to the pharmacist multiple times and stayed up till almost 2 am to fix every new problem and make sure that I got my medication. Ultimately, the pharmacy did not fill it and after staying up that late working on it, he got up and sent it in to another pharmacy first thing in the morning. I was able to get my medication, and he went above and beyond to help me. I've never had a provider do that in my almost 30 years of psychiatric care. Truly an amazing psych provider that is willing to take their personal time to help their patient.
