I highly recommend Johnthap! He guided me through the ADHD testing process, took the time to explain everything, and made me feel comfortable asking questions without any judgment. Being diagnosed in your 20s can come with a lot of questions, and he made the process feel normal and manageable.
We tried a few medications and dosages before finding the right fit, and he was very reassuring when something didn’t work. When we finally found the right dose, it felt like he genuinely shared the excitement with me.
His flexible schedule is also a huge plus, especially when ADHD can make planning appointments far in advance difficult. The patient portal he uses is incredibly convenient, too. Couldn’t recommend him more!

Well it was for an Adderall refill I asked him up front are you going to write it or I don't have to download this app and he lied but he was pretty pleasant he discriminated you did the standard assessment and then tried to give me less and when I told him no he then said he had to do something else started making up reasons I just pleasantly saw
he didn't really want to help me with my standard dose

I was nervous about getting psychiatric care through an app I’d never used, but this provider was amazing. Listened to every detail and gave feedback. He is very easy to talk to. I’m a SA survivor and he made me feel so at ease that I opened up to him about that. If you can get in with this provider, do it!

Very impressed with Dr.Obakpolor! With Telehealth medicine can feel very detached and lacking care and compassion. But Dr.O takes the time to get to know you and your history. He listens to your concerns and mindfully adjust care accordingly. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Obakpolor was truly an amazing provider. First, he thoroughly went through my intake and spent more than an hour which was our appointment time. He was very courteous and listened to me ramble because I was an absolute mess. He saw me on a Sunday evening, which is rare, and made sure that he sent in my medication right away. Unfortunately, the pharmacy was an absolute nightmare with problem after problem and no communication. He spoke to the pharmacist multiple times and stayed up till almost 2 am to fix every new problem and make sure that I got my medication. Ultimately, the pharmacy did not fill it and after staying up that late working on it, he got up and sent it in to another pharmacy first thing in the morning. I was able to get my medication, and he went above and beyond to help me. I've never had a provider do that in my almost 30 years of psychiatric care. Truly an amazing psych provider that is willing to take their personal time to help their patient.
