Alan Vogel received a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toledo. He then went to Columbia University to earn his Graduate degree in Physical Therapy and later became a board-certified orthopedic specialist. Following graduation, he traveled for several years seeking out some of the top mentors in Physical Therapy and worked side by side to gain their knowledge and skills. Alan Vogel is a well-known name in the Orange County area. He moved to Southern California to work at the renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Sports Medicine Clinic. In 1987 he founded California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy and developed a successful community-based sports therapy practice for over thirty years. He is certified at a Master level from the ASTYM Institute, the Titleist Performance Institute for Youth and Medical populations, along with a certification as an Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. He enjoys hiking, going on up close whale watching trips with his wife, and has two happy healthy adult children including one that plays baseball in the Dodgers organization.
