Hi there my name is Dr. Alex and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), with doctorate level training in Professional Psychology. I began working in the field with a degree and board-certification in Music Therapy, and I have an extensive background working with children, adolescents and families in New Mexico.
The Center for Life Changes is a new venture here in Albuquerque to serve the Albuquerque metro area. I treat people by assisting them in exploring issues and challenges affecting their mental health and overall wellness. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and am fluent in Spanish. Using a holistic approach in treating individuals and families, I draw from a Psychodynamic and Humanistic background while specializing in Music Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to meet the specific needs individual and families.
Most insurances are accepted including Medicaid. Please call for additional questions or to set up an appointment.
