I have been seeing Alex for about 3 months. My progress with my injury has been steady and educational. Alex is a stickler for form, always inquires about pain management, offers modifications when needed; a true caring professinal. Highly recommended!

Alexander Torres earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University graduating with magna cum laude honors. His clinical expertise ranges from outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation, and implementing various manual therapy techniques with Maitland mobilizations and Instrumental Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations (IASTM).
Alexander uses his background in sport biomechanics, movement quality, muscle imbalances, and manual therapy to specialize in all aspects of functional performance. He is committed to educating patients on injury prevention programs as a way to decrease future injuries and getting his patients back to return what they love doing the most.
Following post-graduation, he became an active club member of the South Central District league athletics optimizing sports performance training for high school athletes.
Alexander competes in various adult soccer leagues around the New Haven County and participates as a soccer coach for the New Haven Youth Soccer league. Outside of academics, he enjoys staying mentally and physically active whether it is working out, hiking, or just catching up on his leisure reading at local coffee shops. Alexander's ethnicity roots stem from Puerto Rico and Peru and he is fluent in Spanish.
