Alexis is a dedicated relational social worker whose practice is grounded in non-judgmental, client-centered care. With a profound respect for the client's expertise on their own experiences, Alexis creates a supportive environment where individuals can navigate their unique challenges with confidence. Before transitioning into healthcare, she served honorably in the US Army on active duty. That experience has deeply informed her commitment to assisting clients in navigating complex systems, including healthcare and benefits for veterans and first responders. Alexis brings a wealth of understanding to her work with men and women of color, high achievers facing transitional phases in their lives, and individuals dealing with trauma with expertise related to racial and intersectional identities.
Alexis is particularly skilled in working with adults and seniors who are new to therapy and may feel apprehensive about starting this journey. She believes in the power of laughter and healing in the therapy space and emphasizes that transformational work begins with self-discovery and self-care. Born and raised in Southern Maine, Alexis earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree, further advancing her expertise and commitment to supporting those in need.
