I am a licensed therapist, musician and writer, offering counseling services to creative, artistic and high functioning persons, seeking to create positive life changes. Positive-focused approach emphasizes your strengths and potential. I have over 20 years' experience in the field.
I am LGBTQ friendly, accepting of alternative lifestyles and welcome all spiritual paths. I accept several major insurance plans and self-pay, as well as sliding-scale/reduced fees through the Open Path Collective program.
Counseling for depression/anxiety, alcohol/substance recovery, Anxiety, and anger mgmt. I use an eclectic approach, with cognitive behavioral techniques, Glasser's Reality Therapy, and Ellis' REBT. I encourage incorporating your own creativity (Art, Writing,Music). I strongly believe in your ability to get ‘unstuck.’
I am happily married (over 25 years) with three wonderful kids, one of whom has special needs. We have a pet dog, a rabbit, a kitten, and chickens! Sometimes clients get fresh brown eggs as a bonus-added! In addition to family life, I enjoy being in nature, playing music (Piano, Guitar, Banjo), and riding the BRP on my Genuine Buddy 125cc Scooter!
