Amanda earned her Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2015. She has been licensed through the state of Minnesota as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2017. Amanda is passionate about working with individuals, families, children, and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health concerns. She has training and experience in early childhood mental health, working with young children and their families. She also provides Child-Parent Psychotherapy, an evidenced based therapy for children ages birth through five with traumatic exposure. Amanda believes in an experiential and strength-based approach to therapy, helping individuals and families explore and grow to cope with life’s struggles.
