Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with two Master's Degrees from Salem State University-one in Social Work and the other in Education. My 20+ year career has been dedicated to working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I also have a strong background in the special education process and spent nearly two decades working in the school setting.
I specialize in individual, group, crisis intervention, career counseling/post-secondary counseling, as well as family and couples counseling. I'm passionate about executive coaching. I believe everyone deserves a safe and healing space to work through life's difficulties so they can find joy!
I utilize a variety of approaches including Strength-Based, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness Therapy. My eclectic, holistic approach is always grounded in real-life application.
My experience spans community-based behavioral health, public education, and private practice. I'm also well-versed in college and career planning, educational laws, and the diagnosis and treatment of learning, behavior, and mental health disorders.
I firmly believe that people have the inner strength to heal, though sometimes they need support to find it-especially during difficult life transitions and challenges. I help bridge the gap between physical and psychological concerns to promote overall wellness and healing. I empower clients to face the deep truths and challenges of recovery by resolving the impact of past traumas, enabling them to live more connected and embodied lives.
