Angela Lazarevska Choleski earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with honors from Rutgers University. Prior to attending Rutgers, Angela graduated summa cum laude from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
While attending FDU, Angela frequently volunteered at nursing homes, health care facilities, and hospital outpatient physical therapy offices. It was during that time she noticed the enthusiasm and value of the physical therapists working on those settings. She saw firsthand how rewarding it was to witness patients return to walking or activity for the first time after an injury. This experience encouraged her to pursue a career in PT.
Angela has taken additional coursework in the treatment of back pain and radiculopathy, as well as for post-stroke rehabilitation in the outpatient setting. She is also certified in Kinesio Tape application and enjoys treating athletes returning to sport following injury. Angela takes a global approach to creating a treatment plan, evaluating the entire body mechanics rather than just the site of pain and incorporating different manual therapy techniques into her plan.
When she’s not seeing patients, Angela loves spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys music, traveling and taking long walks in nature.
