I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. I believe in taking a cognitive-based, solution-focused approach in my practice. Thoughts are powerful! We are what we think and what we tell ourselves. Working together with my client, I help unravel these thoughts and bring them to your awareness through a supportive and caring approach.
I develop a treatment plan and goals with my client's feedback in mind and assign homework to reinforce what is discussed in sessions. Clients can expect to learn new skills to use when dealing with their challenges and reaching their therapy goals.
I work at the client's pace and believe that developing a strong rapport and therapeutic relationship is key. Clients feel safe to explore these challenges and become more mindful of alternative ways to cope in a confidential, nonjudgmental, and safe space.

I was unsure about seeking therapy at first, I thought it might be a waste of time, but Anne Marie was there to just listen to me and help me talk through my struggles. It was a very easy-going conversation and just talking to her made me feel like I made the right choice to seek help. She is amazing and so kind and really knows how to do her job. I had a great first experience and I’m really looking forward to my next appointment with her!
