Dr. Anni earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Science & Technology Beijing, followed by a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida, where she researched bio soft tissue mechanical property optimization. She then matriculated to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy. Additionally, she holds a Doctor of Oriental Medicine from Henan University of Chinese Medicine. Her great grandfather was a holistic medicine doctor who lived to be 102 years old, and her grandfather is turning 96 this year. Growing up, she followed her great grandfather in his eastern medicine practice, nurturing a lifelong passion for health and wellness. At the University of South Florida, she published several research papers with Professor Alex Volinsky on biomaterial mechanical property changes during implantation, aging, and failure. She applies these research discoveries by integrating acupuncture into physical therapy, redefining the field. As a physical therapist, she is not just a movement specialist but also a soft tissue expert and a physical wellness specialist. Dr. Anni has filed two patents and enjoys helping clients relieve pain, stay active and strong, while researching the best holistic, individualized treatments for their health and wellness.
