Hi there, I'm Ashley!
Hello! I am Ashley Paulson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa and Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in Nebraska. I offer online therapy to children, teens, and adults. I focus on helping those struggling with stress, anxiety, self-worth, parenting, trauma, and behavioral issues in children.
My approach
My approach is strength-based, attachment focused, and mindful. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, hypnosis, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
My focus
I generally help people let go of what's holding them back. I often work with people on managing and reducing stress or anxiety, processing trauma or past experiences, building self-worth/self-esteem, becoming the parent they want to be, and helping parents increase cooperation at home through connection.
My communication style
I create a safe space for you to share whatever you need to share without judgement from me. I am both easy going and focused on helping you move toward a more fulfilling life.
