Hi there, I'm Ashley! Hello, my name is Ashley Schrad. I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Nebraska and a Registered Play Therapist. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Bellevue University. I engage in client-centered therapy to work closely with my clients. I enjoy supporting those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. My approach When working with clients, I use client-centered therapy approaches to help them feel more comfortable. I also enjoy using an eclectic approach, drawing from a variety of theoretical models to find the right fit for each individual. My focus I work with clients of all ages and enjoy helping those who want to see positive changes in their mental health. I am comfortable treating most conditions, with the exception of sex addiction. My communication style I create a calm and quiet environment for my clients-a safe place where they can feel secure working with me. My journey to mental healthcare I was inspired to become a therapist because of past life experiences, and I want to help others who have gone through similar situations. My goals for you I involve clients in treatment planning from the very beginning. At the end of our first session, I will ask you to set a personal goal for your therapy. My first session with you During our first session, we will review a brief history of your past and discuss what brings you to therapy. You will engage in conversation with me as we begin setting goals for your treatment.
