About Bella Bogusz

She graduated from Stony Brook University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy and received her Bachelor's degree from Hunter College in Human Biology and German language. She also studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where she took courses related to Neurodevelopmental Biology and the History of Western Medicine. During her academic career, she volunteered at the Hospital for Special Surgery's Orthopedic, Sports, Pediatric, and Spine Rehabilitation Centers. Her clinical rotations included Outpatient Orthopedics, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Geriatrics and Pediatrics, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Sub-Acute Rehabilitation. Through her experience with different populations, she developed a love and appreciation for all fields, with a profound interest in the outpatient setting. Growing up, she spent much of her free time being active with friends and family, playing sports such as ping-pong, soccer, and volleyball, jogging, or simply enjoying the outdoors through hiking and traveling. She has always been interested in the medical field due to her desire to help others recover from injuries so they can return to doing the things they love. Her passion for movement and science sparked her interest in physical therapy. She finds physical therapy to be an amazing profession that provides not only physical and emotional support but also incredible empowerment in building strength, confidence, and regaining movement. In her free time, she loves to hike mountains, learn new dances, travel the world, and spend time with her family, friends, and Labrador.
