You are feeling exhausted, and burnout is around the corner. You've been dabbling in unhealthy coping skills; you see changes in your eating, sleeping, and connection with others. You want to feel and be "you" again, but you aren't sure how. You have a current goal or challenge in mind that you know I can help you with. I will work with you to see all aspects of you and incorporate your strengths or reframe your challenges to better suit your life. We will work towards your goals, and I will challenge you. We will celebrate the achievement of you feeling more like "you" once more.
My therapeutic style is solution focused and experiential. My specialty is working with individuals with anxiety, panic and OCD disorders as well as trauma and anger. By utilizing neuroplasticity, I can teach couples how to achieve healthy, effective communication. I am trained in CBT, exposure, and prolonged exposure therapy, and am credentialed as CCATP and C-PD.
I do not believe it is always necessary to go into the past, but we are shaped by past experiences. I work to see these experiences in other ways than you revisiting those moments you would rather forget. Everyone has a right to be Seen and Heard. I will work diligently to help you feel both.
