Before coming to Dr. Martin I had chronic knee and back pain. Within a few weeks working with Dr. Martin the pain was completely gone and after 2 months, with the exercises program he prescribed I was completely pain free. My experience with Dr. Martin was literally life changing and I would recommend him for anyone seeking a pain free life!

Originally from Toledo, Ohio Dr. Martin has called Chicago his home for over a decade. Brennan Martin, DC, graduated with his bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Loyola University Chicago in 2015. Immediately after graduation he wanted to dedicate his career to helping others overcome their physical barriers and improve their overall quality of life.
From 2015-2018 he worked as a physical therapy aide at a private practice on the North side of Chicago. While there he worked with cases ranging from surgical reconstructions and sports injuries to personal injury and worker’s comp. In 2018 he enrolled at National University of Health Sciences to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. For 6 months in 2020, Dr. Martin tended to patients at the Salvation Army clinic in West Loop. During this time he gained experience working with BIPOC populations and those suffering from both physical and emotional conditions. Upon leaving West Loop SA he began working for ReSport Chiropractic located above a CrossFit gym in Old Town neighborhood. There he obtained knowledge of Olympic weightlifting mechanics and Functional Movement Screens (FMS). After graduation in April of 2021 Dr. Martin started practicing at Aligned Modern Health, an integrated healthcare clinic in the Wicker Park neighborhood. During this time Dr. Martin worked closely co-treating patients of all backgrounds alongside acupuncture, functional medicine, massage therapy and physical rehabilitation providers. While at Aligned Modern Health Dr. Martin was given the opportunity to work with running groups in Chicago and those training for marathons.
Dr. Martin has special interests in sport-specific biomechanics and sports-related injuries, but is also equipped to help anyone with generalized back pain. Dr. Martin is an admirer of all sports both team and individual. His goal is to get his patients back to competing and doing what they love. He enjoys playing rugby, basketball and volleyball.

I saw Dr Martin 12 times over a 3 month period. He is very professional, helpful, and kind. He did a great job explaining my treatment plan and adjusting it as needed. I would recommend Dr Martin ten fold. He is a professional and great doctor.

Highly professional with a wonderful manner. He listened intently to my issues and explained all aspects of my treatment protocol prior to and during treatment. Up-to-date on all of the current modalities and very open and responsive to all of my questions regarding my injury/pain. Will be continuing treatment. If you're on the fence, just go!

Dr. Martin is dynamic, educated, professional and kind. He explains everything behind his treatments, and truly cares about your long-term wellness rather than just cracking you and sending you on your way. He incorporates physical rehab into his treatment plans, so I have felt like I have gotten better faster. He has a very warm, friendly manner making him easy to talk to about issues. I highly recommend Dr. Martin!
