Dr. Cesare is hands down the best physical therapist I've ever seen. He is skilled, patient, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Immediately after my first appointment I felt an improvement and a sense of relief at finding a comprehensive solution specialized for me. He is organized in planning a combination of therapies that are specific to where I am at - physically and mentally - in the healing process. I have had a love of trying to understand and practice the art and science of healing for many years. It is what I love to do, and how I have dedicated my professional life and career. For me it has always been a calling, my dharma, my purpose, my way of matching what I can offer with the needs of the world. My own healing journey began when I was in high school and experienced severe panic attacks for many months. This health challenge eventually led me to understand how to take responsibility and control of my own health and well being. Instead of relying on drugs, suggested by my doctor, I reached for meditation, relaxation, breathing, and yoga, which changed my life.
As the years passed I have learned many more tools to facilitate a healing response- Reiki, Manual Therapy, Massage, Ayurveda, Physical Therapy, Relaxation Therapy, and more. I have come to understand how important it is to take a comprehensive approach to healing, and to treat the whole person, rather than treating only the label of the diagnosis. A guiding question for many years has been, “How can I help others help themselves?” In order to really help others in a way that was without limit or restriction, I realized it was time to open an Integrative Physical Therapy Center - Zenergy Physical Therapy. My personal success overcoming severe anxiety without drugs and also overcoming many musculo-skeletal injuries, including a full MCL tear without surgery, while playing Division I soccer helps me deeply relate to those I consult with and treat.
Professionally, Brent Cesare earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2005 and his Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies from University of Richmond in 2000.

Started therapy with Dr. Brent for a frozen shoulder with 2 tears in rotator cuff. He has helped me to get mobility that is better then I thought possible. When my shoulder is better I continue with him for full body strengthny & better balance.

I came to Zenergy with severe back pain and problems with my knees and feet. I was not even able to walk comfortably around the block. Now, after Physical Therapy at Zenergy under Dr. Brent's direction, I am able to walk pain free 2 miles+ per day and feel great !

Extremely beneficial, interactive & holistic. Goals are met and expanded for maximum return to fitness. The atmosphere is very nurturing and supportive. I would highly recommend Dr. Brent, he helped me walk & regain my balance & stamina after replacement surgery.

I am a chronic pain patient with nerve bone muscle and skin pain. This is the first physical therapy I have been successful with because he soothes the nervous system as well as getting the body moving and balanced. After 8 months I no longer take prescription meds regularly.
