More about Brooks West, PT
Born and raised in East Texas, Brooks graduated University of Texas at Austin before serving in the military, teaching high school Spanish and working with his father for several years in construction and remodeling.
Always in search of new challenges and personal growth, he pursued a career that would help change lives for the better. With the support and sacrifice of his wife, Celia, and five children, Brooks earned his DPT degree from TWU in Dallas and began serving in home health and outpatient clinical settings.
Upon calling Rowlett, Texas home, the West family enjoy being part of this warm, diverse and thriving community. Soon, he was inspired to create Discover Physical Therapy and Wellness in order to directly serve and affect the health and vitality of this community, one person at a time.
In his free time, Brooks stays mentally and physically active cheering on his kids in soccer, playing on his own “old man team” every weekend, learning Portuguese and French, reading widely and training for spring triathlons.
Above all, Brooks is thankful to God for what he has been given and for what lies ahead. He looks forward to serving you and your family in pursuit of your own health and wellness goals.

This was one of the best appointments I have had! Start to finish everyone was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and LISTENED! I never felt rushed or pressured. I look forward to working with them in my recovery. It will be lengthy and it’s nice to not dread it!
