I have been providing professional counseling services for over a decade. My focus is to establish a welcoming therapeutic environment that fosters the ability for individuals to create the change that will help improve the quality of their life. I utilize a strength-based, humanistic approach by incorporating cognitive behavioral techniques in therapy.
I have clinical experience working with people overcoming addiction, empowering individuals to reduce stress and anxiety, and uplifting those suffering from depression and low self-esteem. I work with a wide-ranging population of adults from college students to older retired adults. I provide culturally humble services specializing in helping the LGBT population. I can assist those who are questioning their purpose in life, career or relationship.
I have my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and my professional counseling license with the state of Connecticut.
I am also the Acting Clinical Director at Darien Wellness.
