Chris Brown has been with FOA since 2004, and is the regional director of physical therapy. Chris sees patients in our Fredericksburg and Stafford Clinics. He graduated from the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN, with a BS in Biology, BS in PT, and Masters in PT. He received his certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the spine in 2007. Chris is a supporter of improving the profession of physical therapy through evidence based medicine. He has been published in a peer reviewed journal and helped collect data in several other studies.
Chris is an avid sports enthusiast and participated in division AA football and his interests carry over professionally in sports and orthopedic physical therapy. He is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a member of the sports section of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as a member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
Chris is an active member of the Fredericksburg community. He lives with his wife and two energetic sons in Spotsylvania, and in his free time, volunteers as a coach and official for local youth football and basketball leagues.
