Christopher Hollar focuses on serving as a counselor for children, adolescents, young adults and families in an effort to assist them with improving their quality of life. He has 12 years of experience working in multiple settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities, a community mental health agency, and offering in-home services. Mr. Hollar has also been fortunate enough to work with members of the military returning from the theater of war for four years at EAMC in Ft. Gordon, GA. His approach to therapy is eclectic and will begin building rapport, identifying and setting goals to work toward, as well as developing a treatment plan tailored to the individual’s needs in order to best promote therapeutic benefits.
Mr. Hollar has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual, group, and family therapy settings. He also has experience working with patients who present with severe and persistent mental illness, depression, anxiety, behavior problems, poor self-esteem, anger management, and PTSD. Mr. Hollar is currently in the process of obtaining his credentials to be a Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) so that he can provide electronic-based counseling services.
